WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for an energetic, creative and experienced copywriter/editor (Native English) to produce and manage all marketing content and creative conception for our EMEA tech events: hackathons, workshops, meetups, conferences. You’ll also be in charge of proofreading and editing all English documents from various internal departments. If you’re interested in diving into the world of tech with a team of young, international professionals in an upbeat neighborhood of Paris, we want to meet you!

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Write, research and conceptualize creative, engaging content to market tech events (event landing pages, social media posts, email campaigns, challenges); Work closely with the project managers to ensure that our clients are satisfied with the quality of our creative work, the value of our services, and our responsiveness to their needs; Edit all English content for various internal departments (sales, marketing, production); Identify inconsistencies and offer creative suggestions to fix awkward or unclear language; Check and apply proofing and design changes to documents and layouts and review updated assets to guarantee that edits have been implemented and no new errors have been introduced; Work closely with our team of external designers to conceptualize landing pages, digital marketing designs (email banners, LinkedIn/Facebook ad banners) and print designs for events; Prioritize tasks for our designers accordingly; In charge of overseeing that all client’s requests for changes to landing pages or communications content are updated and meet deadlines; Produce communication briefs for the outreach team.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing or PR

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRACK-RECORD

2+ years’ of copywriting experience in a related agency or department (advertising, digital, social media, publishing/content or public relations); Native English (basic level of French is a plus); Strong editorial copywriting skills and judgment/experience writing headlines and actionable copy/Experience in SEO copywriting; High level of competency with computers/internet/social networks; Strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to design, graphics and concept inspiration; Ability to lead our external designers in the development of concepts and execution of all landing page designs and design assets for events; Flawless spelling, grammar, and the ability to adapt content to different audiences; Ability to work backward from ambiguous requirements to generate clear, concise communications; Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment; Strong editorial copywriting skills and judgment, plus experience writing headlines and actionable copy; Must be exceptionally collaborative and comfortable working in a matrix environment with multiple partners and shared services; Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft office.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Basic skills in Adobe Creative Cloud services (especially photoshop); Experience managing website copy; HTML and CSS is a BIG plus.
