Poste et missions

iXblue is seeking a Scientific Writer (M/F) to join the marketing & communication team for the Photonics market. We’re looking for a curious and experienced scientific writer or journalist with a background in physics or optics who can help bridge the gap between marketing team, product team, sales team, and customers/prospects for content writing. You will be responsible to research, write and edit a wide range of print and online publications, such as articles, case studies, newsletters, product brochures, webpages with the aim of increasing awareness of iXblue Photonics technologies and products on our worldwide markets. Your knowledge of physics and/or optics will be key for researching, writing, and editing content that’s engaging for our technical audience.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will work collaboratively with our teams in our various locations in France (Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Besançon, Lannion, Bordeaux)
The job is located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye near Paris, at iXblue’s headquarter.

Profil

Degree in journalism and/or physics / Optics Experience in scientific writing with a strong ability to understand and communicate scientific data Demonstrated expertise in writing, editing and proofreading Ability to effectively communicate complex topics in both technical and non-technical terms Good organizational and prioritization skills Ability to work independently under limited supervision, in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment Fluency in English is mandatory, a good knowledge of French would be a plus.
