You develop strategies to identify, acquire and provide appropriate data sets in a hybrid-cloud environment to develop prediction models and support decision making You define the strategy and engineer specific solutions for data access and performance with the data architects and data stewards You build an infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using state of the art technologies from data bases, data lakes and data warehouses You are responsible for establishing and continuously improving sustainable, efficient, scalable, adaptable data access patterns and processing. Particularly this includes provisioning access through APIs using graphQL, REST, RPC, SOAP) You support the development of continuous integration processes and infrastructure You build services and tools to make data more accessible to all data consumers (tools such as searchable metadata, API gateway) and ensure end-to-end pipeline orchestration * You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related discipline You have experience in user experience modelling and maintaining information design, concept generation, and architectures You are adept at writing data access API's (graph, REST, and some RCP and SOAP) for data coming from data lakes, warehouses, and data bases (both relational and non-relational) provisioning access control patterns and attaching IAM access policies. Additionally, leveraging cloud computing tools such as AWS Glue, Athena You are familiar with the concepts of cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, and GCP) You have experience with good software practice including version control systems (GitHub) unit testing, validation, performance optimization, Agile methodologies, microservices, team coding & code review You have a result-oriented, motivated, and proactive personality with proven ability to efficiently work in global cross-functional teams reaching joint goals You have command of English, both written and spoken; a good working knowledge of the German or French language can BE beneficial
