Senior Data Scientist

We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist (Paris, France-remote)

Cornerstone is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join its Paris-based data science team. This team results of the acquisition early 2020 of Clustree, an HR deep tech start-up that built some world class AI assets around careers data. In a context where Cornerstone is making a strong bet on AI as part of its product vision, the team is now part of the "Intelligent Tech Fabric", a distributed team of about 75 engineers mainly based in US, Europe and India, building some cutting-edge data products for 75 million users on core career and learning use cases (Job matching, Learning recommendation, Career path exploration, Skills detection, Company-wide skills visualization, etc.).
As of today, The team consists of 8 people with a strong level of seniority, an expertise in NLP and a particular focus on building industrial and scalable data products. By joining this team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to pushing the state of the art of data science into the field of HR.

Our technologies: Python, Tensorflow, Spark, github.com/Cornerstone-OnDemand/modelkit, AWS (state-machines, sagemaker), etc.
Our data expertise: machine learning, NLP, deep learning, information extraction and retrieval, graph algorithms, ontology development, etc.
As half the team is remote, we are open to remote candidates.

In this role you will...

Design, optimise and put into production algorithm-intensive data products
Design, develop and maintain industrial and scalable data products
Develop R&D work around career and learning data
Participate in cross-functional discussions with product or technical teams around the world
Work in a collaborative team aiming to help you do your best work and make your mark on our products. You will learn a lot from your team and hopefully they will learn from you.
Affect customers with your work by deploying features to production and improving their quality

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

Master's degree in computer science or a related study or equivalent experience
Solid background in Data Science and Machine Learning
Solid background in Software development (preferably in Python)
A willingness to work on both research and engineering projects
A willingness to work in an international work environment

Total Rewards:

At Cornerstone, our transparent total rewards program is based on three core tenets: equitable pay, market dynamic research, and skill-based appraisal.
In Paris Office, The base salary range for this position is: 57700 - 92300 EUR. If you work outside of Paris Office, the salary range may be different and will be applicable to your country, currency and market.
In addition to competitive base pay, the compensation package for this role may include other incentives like bonus or commission, along with a generous benefits package.
Where an individual’s pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
