Context
We are involved in a great transformation journey of our systems and processes and data is considered as a key enabler of this transformation in the Group. You will work in a very passionate and growing data team within the Product & Technology department.

We develop a data-driven culture and handle all the dimensions of the data area within the Group : strategy, governance, platforms, BI, Big Data and data science.

Main missions
- BE a key person and strong asset in the evolving data organization and specifically in the creation and development of its Data Lab approach.
- Lead the definition and evolution of our systematic data science approach and BE a key player in the definition and diffusion of best practices regarding data science.
- Co-constructs solutions based on Data Science with the business (operations, fleet management, marketing, finance, HR) and understand their requirements in a problem solving approach.
- Study the problems and expected impact of the designed solutions on our business given accessible data.
- Develop the enhanced heart of data products like decision support systems, recommender systems, scoring services and maximize reusability of your components with good development practices.
- Develop your technical expertise on various platforms and visualization tools in an agile organization.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :
- The Senior Data Scientist is a key player in the delivery of data products as his work will determine the usage and satisfaction of the clients and internal end-users.
- Report to the Head of Data Insight within the data team in the Product & Technology department.
- You will contribute as an expert to the development of internal services using Data Science solutions based on Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and deployed all over the Group.
- Develop the solutions and the design system in strong coordination with the UX team and the business stakeholders to ensure to meet the needs. But also with data/MLOps teams to ensure the resilience and maintainability of deployed models to meet the performance and quality objectives.
- Promote the data science framework and best practices with all the data stakeholders.
- You will have the opportunity to work in a substantial data team organized in a dataops approach and in a technical environment including cloud stacks (AWS, GCP), data warehouses, data lakes and Iot.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS :
- Internal : All Business Services, P&T departments : QA, support, UX, Tribes, Product Lines, Data Governance, DataOps.
- External : Partners, Providers, External consultants, Clients.

PERSONAL PROFILE OF POSITION HOLDER
Previous experience :
- At least 5 years of professional experience in developing data science models deployed at scale for at least two fields among fleet management, marketing, finance, HR.
- Experience in UX approach and product design is a plus.

Education level / certificates : Master degree or PhD in a related field

Languages : Written and verbal proficiency in English and French

Technical skills :
- Excellent expertise in training different kind of models (timeseries, classification, regression, deeplearning, reinforcement learning).
- Ability to reuse useful stored feature while not forgetting to dive in the data and suggest new ones.
- Experience in developing ML pipelines and deploying models with drift control on an industrial Cloud Data Platform at Scale.
- Strong Development skills with Python and common data science packages.
- Good knowledge of UX approaches to design the system.
- Good knowledge of agile methodologies.
