The CCO IT team is in charge to oversee the IT operations and projects of the CCO organization, that includes 3 geographical clusters called ‘regions’:
- Region “WSELAM” for Western Southern Europe Latin America Middle East and Africa
- Region “NECE” for Northern Eastern Central Europe
- Region “APAC” for Asia Pacific
These 3 regions cover more than 45 countries where Fresenius Kabi operates. The CCO IT team actively works with all IT leads from these countries to supervise local IT operations, accompany the countries with their projects, and ensure a close alignment with the Fresenius Kabi group Corporate IT functions.

The CCO IT team is looking for its new team member. There are 2 main missions for this role of “Manager IT & Digital Coordination”.
· Day-to-day CCO IT governance
The Fresenius Kabi IT organization is a global team where all IT professionals work hands in hands to help transforming the existing IT applications landscape, modernizing it, and securing our IT assets (network, infrastructure) as well as supporting the digital transformation of the company. For the last 2 years, from a fragmented management of IT, we are transitioning to a more central approach to define Fresenius Kabi future IT environment, responding to market requirements and new threats, designing long term strategies for the main areas of IT (applications, infrastructure, services, cyber, digital) and generating sources of efficiencies and processes improvements.
In his role, the Manager IT & Digital Coordination will engage formally and regularly with all CCO countries as part of the newly implemented IT Operating Model to:
· Demands management & projects coordination
The CCO IT team is also actively involved in the coordination of projects for the scope of the CCO organization, all along the life cycle of the projects, from demand to realization.
o Demands management
All ‘local’ IT and Digital projects the CCO countries need to implement are subject to a 2-steps approval process involving the CCO IT & Digital teams and the Corporate IT team. The role of the Manager IT & Digital Coordination is to ensure that this approval process is duly followed by the CCO countries demand requestors, to engage with the different stakeholders from IT and the business so that the initial demand is properly addressed and treated until final approval. The demand transforms then into a project that can be executed.
The CCO IT team is a key actor for promoting and pushing the developments and implementations of existing IT solutions across the CCO regions, and the demands management process supports this objective.
o Project coordination
From time to time, the CCO IT team can be involved into projects management tasks or steering committees for globally managed IT & Digital transformation programs in various areas (cloud, network, cyber security, ERP, digital). The Manager IT & Digital Coordination can be involved, on an ad hoc manner and specifically into these projects for facilitating their coordination for CCO or their execution in some countries.
· Profile
You have gained 5-7 years of experience in IT management, IT governance or IT project coordination. As the role is generalist in IT, it embraces all different IT domains: infrastructure, ERP/applications, cyber security, digitalization.
It is not expected that the candidate masters all these domains, but he/she needs to have been involved very closely with business in an IT role (IT manager, Project manager, Digital officer...), and is familiar with large-scale international working organizations, where different stakeholders need to be mobilized. Equally as hard skills can serve the role, soft skills are very key to be able to engage with a very broad array of cultures, working environments.
Hard skills (non-exhaustive): Digitalization projects, SAP implementation, IT services management, ITIL knowledge, IT project management.
Soft skills: Excellent ability to communicate fluently in English (Spanish is a plus), Proactivity, Good sense, Rigor, Motivation to bridge IT and the business and go beyond a pure IT function.
Educational background: you have graduated from a master’s degree (engineering, science, economics, IT..).
Ability to travel from time to time.
