Company and context :

Our client is specialised in providing connected home entertainment products in B2B solution to multi service operator and B2C via online and retail distribution channels.
The company is at a turning point of its development on the consumer market with a first partnership with Amazon and will shortly be venturing into high street retailing, again through
partnership.

As part of this development of the B2C activity, the company is looking for a new team member to lead the web development/expansion and become the website owner of the company.
His/her main mission will be to maintain and evolve the main website into a full e-commerce platform and to create & maintain from scratch various mini websites regarding to new products and events of the company.

Role overview:

The new Website owner/web developer will work in an innovative and dynamic environment from our central London office within a lean and reactive team of designers, app developers, project leads and testers and working closely with the Comms & Marketing team (25+ persons in london)

Key responsibilities

Own the main website, lead the innovation and evolution of our main website Evolve the main website into a full e-commerce platform Maintain & evolve the b2b website Keep an eye on web trends, propose evolutions, develop and migrate websites (incl. DB migration) Develop events or operations based mini websites to promote our products Own the web updates, consistency, security and maintenance. Actively support the websites
Profils & skills wanted : You have at least 2 years of experience in WordPress (ideally in a digital agency or star-up or consultancy firm) Expert knowledge of Wordpress and plugins (Advanced Custom Fields, WooCommerce, social login with FB, Twitter, Amazon, GDPR etc) Good knowledge of customising Wordpress themes (templates) Expert knowledge of creating and editing Wordpress plugins Excellent knowledge of HTML5 (svg, canvas, video) and CSS3 (animations, 3D) Excellent knowledge of Mobile centric frameworks and responsive design (bootstrap) Excellent knowledge of jQuery and JavaScript Good knowledge of integrating external web services (REST API) with PHP. Good level in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch (capability to modify/edit files and export optimised web assets) Good knowledge of video formats and capability to edit and export web assets Good knowledge of web hosting and common protocols (http, ftp, SSH) Other skills as a + Knowledge of Agile environment Team player Digital/social media trend awareness Good knowledge of SEO Soft skills : Pro-active Autonomous Fast learner
Conditions :
Area : Central London
Permanent position – 3 months probation
Salary= Package £30K-£45K (Fixed = £30K/annum + Bonus = 25% stretchable to 50%)
Medical cover + dental cover (bupa)
