Senior Data Engineer

My customer who is in the Oil and Gas sector, is looking for a Senior Data Engineer who is happy to come onsite 2 days a week in Paris.

They are looking for:

Description Digital Accelerator (DAC) is a cross-functional team that supports the various GEMS teams in setting up their data projects based on the ENGIE data analytics ecosystem (in particular AWS, Dataiku, Collibra, Foundry, Databricks) DAC brings expertise to business and IT users on Big Data issues, develops tools that optimize the user experience within the ecosystem.

The team also participates in the development of Data use cases in AWS and Dataiku.

Its activities cover:

• data collection

• data ingestion (structured and unstructured) in the Datalake

• data processing and transformation according to use cases (history, analytics, data science, …)

• data exposure

• performance and cost optimization.

Technical context

The service provider will act as a developer on the various applications of the Digital Accelerator scope:

These applications are based on the following technologies:

Python,

PySpark,

Cloud AWS,

Docker,

APIs Confirmed (6 to 9 years inclusive)

8 Levels of experience Big Data Architecture & Technologies Confirmed (6 to 9 years inclusive)

8 Levels of experience Scripting Python

Confirmed (6 to 9 years inclusive) 8 Levels of AWS experience Confirmed ( 6 to 9 years inclusive) 7 Levels of experience Mastery of Junior software development standards (3 to 5 years inclusive) 7 Levels of experience Spark - PySpark Confirmed (6 to 9 years inclusive)

7 Levels of experience SQL Confirmed (6 9 years old included)

7 Levels of experience Scala Junior (3 to 5 years old included) 5 Levels of experience
