Data Scientist within Manufacturing Intelligence

Then we welcome you to be part of the cLEAN(r) team in Diabetes Finished Producs (DFP), Chartres.
The position
As a data scientist you will play a key role in defining and implementing manufacturing intelligence initiatives in our production, including identification of data and optimization potentials. You will work on establishing a foundation for the use of data from our production machinery and processes for predictive modelling and data-driven decision making.
In the role you will be collaborating with process experts and IT specialists to understand and develop the potential of data usage for process improvements. An important part of the role will be to establish data foundations in relevant formats and systems together with IT and technical specialists and to identify desired applications of data science together with process experts. You will use advanced analytics to forecast trends and events through predictive modelling and statistics.
Furthermore, you will take part in our journey to increase data availability and improve visual management across the site.
Qualifications
You have a master’s degree or similar in a relevant engineering field; Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or similar. You should have good theoretical grounding in basic statistics, probability and machine learning and experience with relevant data science programming languages (e.g. Python, R) and data management systems (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, cloud services)
The ideal candidate has a good understanding of manufacturing intelligence, industry 4.0 and project management and is analytical and logical in their way of thinking. Experience with data visualisation tools like Alteryx/Tableau/Grafana is an advantage but not a requirement. You preferably have experience with PLC/SCADA data and an understanding of manufacturing execution systems such as SAP and PAS-X.
You are a go-getter with a ‘can do’ mind-set and see yourself as a fast learner with a solution and service-oriented mind set. Great interpersonal skills is a must since the job will include considerable interaction with stakeholders and specialists.
Proficiency in English and French both verbally and in writing is a prerequisite in this job.

cLEAN(r) team is within People & Organisation department at DFP Chartres, where we provide top-quality products for patient with diabetes worldwide. The department is responsible for support and improvements regarding recruitment, training, cLEAN®, manufacturing intelligence and administration.
