Qlik is looking for a Qlik Sense Web Developer Consultant, France

Qlik is seeking a skilled developer with a strong background in application and web development for an exciting opportunity within our European consulting team. In this role you will have a major impact on the success of our latest technology, by implementing innovative customer solutions that rely on your skills and competencies in a diverse range of application development technologies.

We are a team of highly motivated individuals who deliver on the vision of self service data discovery and guided analytics solutions using compelling visualization, web development and open source extensibility to drive our customer’s business strategies, processes and workflows. We bring our customers inspired development and innovation comprising multiple disciplines across user centric design, application development, data management and analytics, and business strategy.

Your role would be to function as an application development lead able to scope, estimate and delivery rich solutions to our customers. You will work within hybrid multidiscipline teams across Europe delivering Business Intelligence solutions enhanced by innovative use of other technogies to enrich the functionality and usability aspects.
Your strong technical, analytical and consultative expertise will nurture customers to drive adoption and repeat purchases.

Your profile
Required Skills Browser development: Extensive modern-browser compatible, standards-compliant web development experience (HTML5, CSS, JS and frameworks) Server development: Significant modern application development experience working in a modern programming language. (C#, Java, Python, Scala, etc) Experience interacting with RESTful APIs and other integration technologies Hands-on experience with relational databases and data modeling Prior consulting, client facing, or freelance experience Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal sk ills to forge relationships of trust at all levels of the organization.

Preferable/Desired skills Data visualization experience is strongly preferred. (D3, Raphaël, Google Charts, Snap.SVG, Highcharts, Chart.js, Dojox, Ico, etc) Responsive web development experience (Bootstrap, Foundation, media queries, etc) AngularJS experience or equivalent JS frameworks Understanding of wireframing, UX design or UI patterns Experience with private like OpenShift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry or public PaaS such AWS, Azure, Google App Engine or Heroku. Build automation and provisioning tools experience (Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc) and knowledge of DevOps principles. Cloud automation experience with container services (e.g. OpenStack, Docker) and virtualization (Vagrant, VMWare). Experience with QlikView or Qlik Sense is preferred, though we are willing to train the right consultants with our technology. Other BI platform experience is relevant as well.
