WHAT YOU WILL DO
Recast.AI is a french startup specialized in Artificial Intelligence, and more specifically on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and conversational agents (“bots”).

Through our platform, we allow developers to create smart bots easily, but we also build many for our own or for corporate use.

Recast.AI was acquired by SAP in January 2018. This acquisition is the result of aligned technological and business visions, and will allow us to lead the integration of conversational technologies worldwide.

We are currently based in Paris (Station F) and we are seeking talented full-stack engineers who want to grow up with this new challenge.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Back-End Engineers team is one of the key elements of Recast.AI. They work closely with both Front-End engineers to implement the user interface of our platform with modern tools, and with Data Scientists to industrialize the Machine-Learning NLP workers.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Front-End developers to iterate on the platform features
Work with Data Scientists to build and implement machine-learning features
Build robust and scalable back-end systems
Find and address performance issues
Participate in design and code reviews
Requirements

Ruby on Rails guru ;)
Experienced with API development
Familiarity with web applications
Real passion for a clean and structured code, and communication about best-practices

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
We will first spend some time by phone or skype to present you Recast.ai and the great product we are working on. It will also permit us to better understand what you've achieved and what would be your dream job.

Then we will propose you some exercises so that you have more visibility on our technical landscape and we have a good overview of your skills

If you feel comfortable with the tests, you will next meet with our VP Engineering and our Scrum Masters in a face-2-face interview. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you have on Recast.ai, the positions, the organization etc.

Finally you will spend some time with our VP Product, and our CTO who will answer your last questions and ensure you have a clear idea of the Recast.ai mindset : -)
