A fantastic opportunity for a Lead Data Scientist to head up a Data Science department based in Paris with a leading B2B SaaS company.

The team currently consists of purchasing specialists in the industrial field as well as experienced developers. The team has nearly 2 decades of experience having helped consolidate a large amount of data that the company now wants to gain more insight in to.

The Lead Data Scientist must implement several algorithms that will be at the heart of the platform.

The platform will be able to:

– Make suppliers recommendations for buyers.

– To make cost estimates based on an analysis by approximation of comparable parts in classified material database. To do this, machine learning techniques, regressions, classifications or distances may be used.

– Implement several KPIs for steering the marketing of this “data driven” platform (segmentations, prospects and customers, analyses cohorts level estimation appetencies following segments, etc.).

Required:

– To do this, a solid knowledge in statistics and in the field of modern data mining techniques is required.

– Advanced R and Python is required.

– French speaking and writing skills

– Degree, Masters or Doctorate from a leading University
