The Marketing Specialist supports the local division/product group by focusing on the definition and implementation of marketing and sales strategies aimed specifically at developing strategic markets or segments. He/she defines business plans, annual marketing plans and marketing strategies according to budget, and is also involved in market development actions with other departments (sales, etc.).
He/she maintains and develops relations with internal departments. He regularly exchanges with marketing and sales teams, both locally and internationally. He/she keeps a particularly close eye on market trends, competition and regulatory aspects in the targeted fields.

Your responsibilities

Contributes to the definition and execution of the division/product group's local strategy by analyzing and identifying new markets, segments and/or product solutions.
Analyzes customer needs for the portfolio, develops differentiating value propositions.
Analyzes "white spots" and related strategies to develop the market(s).
Develops and implements sales strategies for newly defined areas, in line with Group or Division strategy.
Provides market analysis based on the identification and development of new markets, segments or solutions.
Participates in internal working groups to share know-how, processes and market information.
Identifies, leads or contributes to the identification and acquisition of new sales opportunities in defined areas.
Identifies partnership opportunities and participates in the definition of partnership agreements with the local division.

Your background

At least 2 years of higher education (commercial studies).
Significant experience in sales and marketing.
Ability to work with IT and digital tools for identifying projects, tracking customers and producing quotations.
Fluency in English and French.
No obstacles to travel (50% of time, mainly in France, sometimes abroad).
Leadership skills to unite sales teams around a market/segment.
Ability to conduct sales talks and negotiations.
Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
