To support our development, we are looking for an Operations Director – Animal Nutrition EMEA. That’s where you come in!

What you will be doing

In Europe, the Middle East and Africa you will be responsible for all manufacturing and supply chain teams and all assets of the region which covers 500 talented employees across 20+ manufacturing plants and 20+ warehouse facilities. You will work closely with our with Food Safety and Quality team to ensure continuous audit readiness in a food safety plant as well as continuous improvement on main KPIs like CONQ, Claims, FPP. In addition you will work with other ADM teams like finance, sales, marketing and legal, to build/roll-out an innovative Animal Nutrition strategy in EMEA and own the Operations 5-year plan, budget, forecast and S&OP. In cooperation with our Support teams and Technology experts you will be responsible for driving excellence in our plants by rolling out the lean culture and tools, strict governance and reviews, innovation and creativity. By enforcing ADMs group policies, government regulation and regulatory agencies on safety, environment and quality you will ensure full compliance of the Animal Nutrition operations in EMEA.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter the most for this role:

Bachelor´s degree or higher in Science, Continuous Improvement, Chemical, Mechanics, Industrial Engineering or similar
At least 8 years of experience leading Operation and Supply Chain in the feed, food or pet food processing or any other PGCD industry
Comfortable working on matrix, international, and multicultural organizations
Excellent leadership ability including a vision for strategic direction, delegation and leading others
English is our working language therefore you need to be comfortable working in this language, but other European languages are a strong advantage
Highly motivated to gain hands-on experience and work structured, swift and accurate
Ability to prioritize workload and make decisions in a fair and professional manner
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Open to occasional regional and international business trips
