Purpose of the job:
Supporting Regions through competitiveness, tender costing gap or ad-hoc analyses with reference libraries
Creating, Managing and Keeping up-to-date our portfolio of Mainline RS Services Reference Libraries
Driving services competitiveness through definition and follow-up of competitiveness plans
Collecting central REX on services projects
Key accountabilities:
Competitiveness in Tenders
Support market competitiveness analysis
Support Tender teams with on-demand budgetary estimates, target cost and target cost allocation, based on reference library
Prepare gap analysis based on reference library and animate gap meeting with tender teams. Prepare minutes of meeting after gap meeting.
Competitiveness in Ref Lib
In close coordination with the Maintenance solution manager, create and up-date portfolio of Reference Solutions on a timely basis
Ensure work package costs are compliant, complete, challenged, achievable and validated
Provide support to and/or drive on behalf of the Maintenance solution manager improvement activities on LCC and reference libraries in line with Platform objectives: build competitiveness plan and business cases for new competitiveness actions
Prepare ref lib review meeting presentation for reference solutions portfolio according to the standards and the calendar defined
Maintain and update ref lib sharepoint
Competitiveness in projects / REX
Prepare analysis/benchmark of competition offering with Maintenance solution Director / Managers and Platform Market & Portfolio director
Perform on-demand gap analyses on project work packages
Organize systematic REX meetings with projects and incorporate improvements in Reference Library
Educational Requirements
Engineering degree and/or Business School
Experience
Min 5 years of work experience in capital goods manufacturing, transport equipment manufacturing or other heavy industries
Experience of bid costing, ideally for large scale services tenders

Technical
Very good / Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
Ability to “look beyond” numbers, i. e. understand meaning and challenge cost base
Very good communication orally (in person and remotely via phone/skype) and in writing
Proficiency in English
Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment
