Brief description


Barilla France is looking for a Brand PR International Manager to join the External Relation Global Team.


The successful candidate will support the head’s in building and reinforcing the Equity of our Global Brands in WE, N&CE, EEMEA, APAC. In the assigned Regions, implement and communicate appropriate messages that shape our consumers opinions and increase awareness of our brands, in line with the guidelines of the Head and the objectives defined by the unit’s Chief Officer.


Be the point of contact for members of the press and other media representatives for the assigned Regions and implement locally the global policies with regards to relationships with the media.


Deploy the global PR communication strategy within the assigned Regions and align local initiatives with the global guidelines/framework. Develop and execute specific Communication activities and align their specific communications needs with the aim of a Barilla global footprint.


What you’ll be doing



Be the point of reference for long term Barilla Brand related communication towards press and media in assigned Regions.
Create strong and efficient local PR initiatives based on the toolkits and annual PR agenda.
Co-lead influencers campaigns with the digital and brand teams.
Source and pitch regional PR-first or PR-only campaigns born from insight & trends.
Implement media initiatives in the assigned Regions for our Global Brands & our ambassadors.
Measure KPIs and frameworks for local PR activities, track & report on relative success / areas of improvements to be shared with the Head.

Media Relations:



Implement relationships with the media aligned with media relations policies, ensuring their alignment with the objectives and strategies defined by the unit’s Head and Chief Officer.
Contribute to managing the relations with national media on topics that impact directly on the reputation of our products or brands.
Contribute to managing relations with national agencies in order to guarantee the consistency of outgoing messages through both the specialist and non-specialist press and television, reflecting the nature of different local situations and in line with the guidelines relating to the approach towards the outside world shared with the unit’s head and Chief Officer.

External Communication:



Support the Group Communication and External Relation team to spread key Group messages such as our sustainability mission to assigned regions.
Collaborate with the media team in order to implement/develop synergies when approaching the Media Partners with reference to the assigned areas.
Support the external communication to key stakeholders (opinion leaders and partners, customers and consumers) in order to build, promote and defend the reputation of our Global Brands.
 Implement communication plans/initiatives by managing agencies, coordinating and interacting with external partners and the Barilla Units.
Support the Unit head’s in the execution of key brands’ events and initiatives defining contents, key topics and messages, speakers/participants scouting and engagement, rules, format, offline and online advertising as well as coordination with the digital strategy.
Support the assigned Regions for developing and driving specific Local events on Global and Local brands.

Your recipe for success



Master’s degree
Solid PR & Communication background and a wide range of digital capabilities.
5-7 years of work experience, preferably within FMCG.
Project management: proven track record designing and executing successful PR campaigns at both a local and global level.
Experience in developing and managing influencers/ambassadors campaigns from brief to deployment.
Team player: comfortable working in a complex global, matrix environment and enjoy building new relationships and collaboration to make things happen.
Proven experience in budget management and investment, both in media and production.
Excellent communication, with a talent for proof-reading and communicating complex messages through inspiring and accessible media tools. 
Founders mentality with a passion for business and growth.
Excellent English & French.

Additional Info



The position reports to the PR Director.
Our office is in Boulogne Billancourt (France). We offer hybrid working as a mix of working remotely (2 days a week) and from the office.
The expected starting date is ASAP, with a full-time permanent contract.
