As a Brand Manager, you will take a lead in the delivery of our ambitious growth plans for CYO cosmetics, with responsibility for the development and execution of key categories within the global 3 year new product development (NPD) plan. You will be accountable for delivering brand performance targets and driving value creation for our company. You share accountability for the full Brand P&L across markets, and you will support the development of and decision-making around the Brand vision, strategic plan and innovation agenda.
Your ability to manage multiple projects at any given time will be key, as will be your comfort in working seamlessly within the matrix.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment covering someone on maternity leave.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand & Product Innovation
Manages innovation development from concept to in-market delivery. This includes conceptual commercial innovation as well as innovation in packaging, product, merchandising or services
Supports the creation of brand innovation strategy & master-plan that delivers business sufficiency. Creation and delivery of consumer & shopper innovations
Supports the innovation development from understanding unarticulated consumer needs and synthesising insight from disparate data and multiple disciplines, to concept and in-market delivery, whether conceptual/commercial innovation or innovation in packaging, product, merchandising or services
Consumer Truth: Understanding & Generation
Understanding, capturing and communicating the reality of consumers & shopper behaviour, beliefs, attitudes and motivations in a way that can be leveraged for growth by WBA.
Consumer, Customer and Retailer understanding
Builds deep understanding of target consumer groups, across key geographies globally, in order to inform robust consumer driven strategy of the Brand
Ensures ongoing utilization of consumer and market insight to inform brand strategy
Agency & Partner Management
The management of agency partners and their work on our brands and business from selection of the right agencies/partners, to briefing & evaluation of work through to production and reward
Business performance management
Tracks, analyses, evaluates and reports on the performance of key projects against objectives
Shares accountability for delivery of Brand performance targets (revenue, profitability, share, equity, return on investment), contributing to Global Category performance
Ensures measurement and evaluation plan in place on over 80% of brand investments in order to identify, codify and rollout successful Category growth drivers
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
An experienced Product or Brand Manager with a passion for beauty and cosmetics
Experience of NPD delivery (essential) and communications development (preferable)
Comfortable managing multiple projects at any given time, with excellent attention to detail
Commercially sound and able to make clear & appropriate decisions to balance brand equity with commercial opportunity
Able to build strong relationships and delivering through others and working seamlessly within a matrix organization
Self-starting and driven to achieve results, holding yourself and others to high execution standards.
