Job DescriptionBose is about better sound, but better sound is just the beginning.  We’re about inventing new technologies that truly benefit people, and creating a culture where innovation and teamwork are highly valued. Now, we have got an exciting opportunity as the Retail Operations Manager for our Fnac-Darty/Boulanger Business within Wholesale Europe.Our group strives to be the top-rated supplier to our retail customers in delivery of Innovation, Business Planning and Marketplace Excellence. As the Retail Operations Manager, you are responsible for the Bose physical retail experience of assigned resellers through managing all elements of retail operations and achieving targeted metrics on display deployment, functionality, training and advocacy.You will build and leverage strategic organizational plans to drive business and foster partnerships with key resources within both Bose and our resellers HQ. In this role, you ensure BOSE wins at the First Moment of Truth through superior retail presence.  You are the Reseller team’ retail architect to ensure the right tools, resources and solutions are deployed to deliver volume and share, and most importantly, to delight our customers in store.In this role, you’ll be a part of a cross-functional team of experts and report into the team lead; the Strategic Business Manager.WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DOInternal Bose work•Drives to completion national and regional plans and projects to create the optimal shipper experience in store•Evaluate performance of all BOSE retail activities (ROI, Closure, etc) and recommends improvements•Develop and maintains retail operations reporting and score carding – merchandising, advocacy, training, reseller insightsBose Reseller team work•Create a vision of retail excellence and strategies necessary to deliver that vision•Communicate market intelligence / reseller information to team and beyond•Defines critical reseller and BOSE joint KPIs (speed to market, retail availability, display execution/performance, compliance)•Develop and applies reseller specific training.  Manage budget for training, merchandising, advocacy in line with given guidelines.•Drive the execution elements of retail operations in partnership with Bose team and 3rd party labor through the planning of 3PL activities.External Reseller work•Create and deliver a Reseller HQ focused operational improvement plan•Provides Sales with retailing insights that will improve plans in store•Creates, leads and sells Annual Retail Plan that delivers business expectations•Works closely with Supply Chain to integrate solutions from Bose to the shelf•Sells and executes joint business plan to Customer HQ Sr Mgmt that delivers in stock and compliance (includes Customer Ops mgmt).•Delivers retailing innovation to the Customer that accelerates BOSE results•Applies path to purchase shopper understanding to improve reseller RSP training and deliver higher rates of closure•Lead sell-in/sell-through of national initiatives with Reseller personnel responsible for display, execution and RSP training•Sells and executes customer process improvements in scalable areas that disproportionately benefit BOSEWHAT DRIVES YOUWe believe you are driven by collaborating across functions and channels to realize big potential. You have got commercial experience and knows how a retail operations works and how to get things done at a HQ. You have proven results in building plans and executing those.YOU ARE PART OF THE TEAMA big enthusiastic team of true professionals.  You will play a critical role in the cross functional team that we call “the Reseller Team”.
