The mission of Devices and Platforms is to provide procurement excellence in Customer Equipment procurement including Smartphones, Home Gateways/STBs, and IoT Devices and related accessories as well in relevant services platforms such as Messaging, IN/Charging, TV, and Device Management/IoT platforms.

YOUR PROFILE

You hold a university degree in business or a qualification of the same level and you possess the following skills and experience:

Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in an international environment with a focus in business, strategy, marketing or procurement
Proven track record in leadership, managing teams and developing talents
Ability to drive complex projects cross-countries and cross-functions, defining clear objectives and delivering tangible outcomes
Strong communicator able to influence and converse across a variety of stakeholders while staying aware of cultural differences
Entrepreneurial and growth mindset combined with strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills
Experienced in matrix organisations and in bringing together many stakeholders
Knowledge in the mobile devices business and supplier landscape
Experience in data automation projects a plus
Willingness / ability to travel frequently

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Vice President Strategic Partners and Country Management, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our Smartphones and consumer IoT portfolio with our major device suppliers:

Co-create and drive the Device Partnerships vision and strategy for a team of Partner and Country managers spread over several countries
Steer the team to create win-win opportunities with strategic partners (Smartphone & IoT consumer suppliers like Samsung and Xiaomi) through expertise, data analysis and thought leadership
Develop a deep understanding of our local markets and their business on smartphones to drive international scale and improve local performance
Secure growth opportunities for our overall partners
Drive Digitization, Growth and Strategy in the devices category, seizing opportunities to enhance Deutsche Telekom and Orange’s end-to-end competitiveness for Smartphones
Lead risk management topics with strong modelling and project roadmap / implementation
Support negotiations / strategy programs and drive positive outcomes through strong communication towards our community, in particular the C-suite at Orange and Deutsche Telekom
Contribute to further improve employee engagement, customer satisfaction and collaboration with stakeholders
