Job Description


Reporting directly to the VP Marketing & Sales Group, you will translate the global strategic vision into an operational marketing vision for all our products and solutions.


You will participate in the strategic committee and implement the Marketing and Communication strategy for the different segments.


You actively participate in the definition of value propositions for products and solutions, translate these propositions into promotional and sales tools and participate in the training of sales teams.


You are responsible for product and solution launches in line with the group's strategic plan.


You manage a multidisciplinary operational team while having strong functional links with all the internal actors concerned.


You are responsible for coordinating and leading the various marketing groups composed of Product, Segment and Solution Managers. You define the objectives and ensure that the operations are properly implemented.


You bring your marketing expertise and build momentum by embodying and spreading a strong marketing culture.


As a true interface with the General Management, you are in charge of the reporting on the projects’ progress.


With the support of the Communications Manager, you supervise external communications and the organization of events throughout the world (product launches, trade shows, etc.). You will analyse the impact of each marketing action via a monitoring system (budget monitoring, regular reporting) in order to measure its impact. You adjust the strategy according to the performance of the actions and the evolution of the market. Based on your experience in digital marketing, you deploy effective marketing tools (social media, websites, marketing campaigns...). You are responsible for the graphic chart and the consistency of the brands within the group.


You define the Marketing and Communication budgets in close collaboration with the General Management and the different business segments concerned.


You manage relations with professional associations and manage suppliers and service providers.


Qualifications


You have a Master's degree in Marketing or Engineering with a specialization in marketing (Master's, MBA). You have significant experience as a Marketing and Communication Manager/Director within an international organization, in an environment of products and solutions with high technological content.


You have worked closely with the general management and the technical management of the company where you gained expertise in sharing strategic decision-making while ensuring your leadership role in operational marketing.


Your leadership skills combined with excellent interpersonal skills enable you to lead and motivate multidisciplinary groups around a strong marketing culture.


You have excellent  analytical skills and the ability to condense information, which enables you to monitor and manage several simultaneous projects. 


You have a strong customer awareness and master the various marketing and digital communication techniques. This allows you to optimize all the actions implemented.


You know how to build team spirit and cohesion via both functional and hierarchical links and have leadership skills


You are interested in the markets and innovative products in BtoB.


Your flexibility allows you to be at ease with Sercel’s diversification and the development of new markets through various players.


You speak fluent English and have a good level of French.
