THE ROLE
This role will have direct responsibility for building Hugo Boss Beauty’s global influencer marketing and PR strategy, with a strong focus on digital and social communications to drive brand awareness. Through strategic positioning, tactical execution and activating a strong network of influencers across the globe, the Director will use the power of digital, social and traditional media to facilitate and inspire connections and engagement between our brands and the target audiences.
Responsibilities:
Define strong, innovative and targeted global influencer and PR strategies for the brands; identify brand relevant targets in media, influencers, digital communities (bloggers, vloggers, engaged expert consumers)
Lead the new 360 retail/consumer engagement model
Develop/create breakthrough tools and assets to drive coverage, inclusive of experiential activations, content creation (videos, images, interviews), partnerships and collaborations; leverage all asset creation both on- and off-line
Implement outreach strategies, manage and execute campaigns across multiple platforms, including social media
Identify new social media opportunities (platforms, content, partners) to amplify brand objectives for key launches and devise an always-on approach to support makeup and core business
Develop and manage 360 communication calendars to maximize effort across paid, owned and earned media, in partnership with the cross-functional teams
Collaborate internally with Brand Marketing teams to build and maintain internal tools, processes and products to facilitate content ingestion and content management
Build relationships with market teams, overseeing and approving local plans to ensure global guidance is being adhered to
Build and maintain strategic relationships/partnerships with the Fashion House(s), agencies, agents, influencers and media
Develop and curate collaborations with celebrities and influencers to support brand equity, product launches and key initiatives/seasonal moments, inclusive of campaign talent management
Design processes and guidelines to assure local roll out plans; liaise with, and manage markets to ensure proper support and implementation of brand priorities
Oversee day-to-day budget management with overall alignment on spend from SVP Marketing
Continually communicate and evaluate progress/ROI against key metrics; react and adjust plans accordingly
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Key requirements & skills
12+ years of experience building and scaling brand marketing communications programs
Experience in a branded luxury business
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
Track record of creating and executing a Global Influencer Marketing strategy
Experience developing and executing strategic initiatives that align with business goals and budget
This person will come equipped to activate and engage their own influencer contact list
Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in approaching new and innovative ways of executing
Experience establishing and maintaining professional partnerships with press and influencers
Active learner who is willing to experiment and be open minded to new ideas and technology
A 360 profile and international experience
Must be able to manage a multitude of assignments at once and prioritize appropriately
Experience working with US market a plus
