As Doctrine’s Communication Manager, you will ensure the company protects and promotes it’s image and narrative in a proper, coordinated, and consistent manner, both internally or externally through owned and earned media. You’ll also manage the flow of news about Doctrine to the media and act as a media spokesperson on behalf of the company.


What you'll do :


Develop a marketing communication plan to grow industry awareness, including strategy, goals, budget and tactics Develop media relations strategies, both national and regional, seeking high-level placements -but not limited to- print, broadcast and online media Detect public relations issues as they emerge and address them directly to deflect criticism Exercise extremely high judgment in narrow timeframes, particularly by injecting logic and care into leadership communications Manage Doctrine’s social networks (facebook, linkedin, twitter) to foster Doctrine’s awareness through innovative content strategies Manage media inquiries and interview requests and create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentation Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them Gather and disseminate timely information to press and staff Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results
What you'll need :


7+ years’ executive or internal communications experience, preferably at a high-growth, technology company. Proven track record designing and executing successful communication strategies and PR campaigns at both a local and national level Proven working experience with medias and journalists Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews Exceptional writing and editing skillsStrong copy editing and writing skills Why you should apply:
