The company is a global leading manufacturer of instruments for materials analysis and biophysical characterization. Their systems are used in many industries, including building materials, metals, mining, food, pharma, cosmetics, polymers, oils, plastics, thin film metrology, nanomaterials, automotive, and many other industries. With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Customer Support Manager for France.
The Role
Your primary task is to manage, motivate and develop the customer support team in France.
The team includes 25+ Field Service Engineers, in house technical support and help desk employees.
The position is based in the Paris area.
You will have full responsibility for the aftersales business and running customer support activities in France.
Working closely with the local and European management team.
The Requirements
A degree in a scientific or engineering field is preferred; Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Biochemistry, Biology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, etc.
Proven experience of managing and developing a team of Service Engineers and Customer Support employees in France.
Experience in a business with scientific / analytical instruments.
Highly motivated, and willing to travel across France to support the team and customers.
Languages: Fluent French and English.
You may have experience as a Customer Support Manager, Service Manager, Service Director, General Manager, Business Unit Manager, or similar.
