Responsibilities


The Marketing & Communications team is responsible for managing, promoting and protecting the company’s reputation as well as bringing the company to life across owned and earned channels. We play a substantial role in eBay’s strategy, positioning the company as a global leader in the commerce evolution.


We are looking for a passionate Digital Marketing & Analytics Manager for our team in France to help us.


The team covers areas including:



Marketing planning
Media & Performance Marketing Strategy
Local CRM Strategy
Support of key ‘go to market initiatives’ (New Inventory Lines, Partnerships etc.)
Investment decisions related to a large Performance Marketing budget and CRM, in partnership with the global teams
Work in a way that combines brand vision, customer insight, operational difficulty, financial oversight, excellent inter-team planning and creativity.

You will be an inspiring leader in the digital marketing space, love competition, and driving growth.


The role will be part of the Marketing & Communications Team, working closely with cross-functional teams, and report to the CMO.


Key responsibilities:



Drive business growth through meticulous full-funnel marketing planning exploiting all digital touchpoints
Strategize paid media programs through search engine, social media, display, and other channels. Oversee campaigns and optimize towards KPIs, implementing A/B tests.
Be responsible for global Paid Search, SEO strategy, providing inputs to the central team aligned to both C2C and B2C business objectives, for keyword expansions and ad copy, to boost both paid and natural search results
End-to-end programmatic campaigns and audience management ownership - assess and implement opportunities, work with the agency to build and implement the campaigns, from brief, through to creative production and campaign measurement
Lead the build-out of a long-term user growth in France across mobile, apps and desktop through ROI-friendly acquisition marketing
Lead the analytics framework, reaching valuable data driven insights, through the discovery of patterns and trends; optimize spending and performance based on KPI metrics, and propose corrective measures where necessary
Work with research and analytics teams for measuring the incremental impact of campaigns and to build report, attribution models and data visualizations that help partners easily track and evaluate success of digital marketing programs
Research and adopt new tools and platforms to improve results

What we are looking for:



A wealth of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving return on investment and sales and a deep knowledge of Programmatic Buying ecosystem
Hands-on experience with major DSP’s and extensive knowledge of the RTB and wider programmatic landscape
Adtech, audience & data management technologies with a deep knowledge of Programmatic buying, Ad-operations, and experience of CDP/DMP to DSP workstream
Hands-on experience with campaign optimization and measurement
Ability to think strategically and creatively, developing practical and specific strategy and tactics to produce tangible results
Ability to manage and coordinate external resources (third party service providers, web agencies, marketing agencies, social media agencies)
Strong background in working within fast-paced companies, knowing how to interpret customer needs and behaviours
Outstanding influencing skills at all levels and ability to work in a global matrix organization
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, highly organized and capable of working independently
Confident working with large marketing budgets

Job Requirements & Background


The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter with a demonstrated strong professional performance. The position requires someone who is innovative, analytical, organized, and diligent with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the ideal candidate works well with outside partners and has Internet proven experience.



8+ years of professional experience in consumer marketing; ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years in performance marketing & analytics
The person will be results-driven and inspired by working with a dynamic and collaborative team, combined with a tireless work ethic and a global worldview.
Experience in managing external agencies/technologies and partners and working with internal, cross functional teams in a complex and large organization within the retail, internet or technology sectors.
Extensive hands-on experience in planning and delivering digital campaign through different channels such as video advertising, display, search, social and emailing marketing with branding and performance objectives
Knowledge of the French ecommerce, digital retail landscape, competitor base and their acquisition approach is a plus
Strong understanding of typical consumer journey in ecommerce
Excellent written and spoken French and English
University degree in digital marketing/data & analytics
