We are looking for a Collectibles category manager to join our team based in Paris.

Collectibles include products such as Arts & Antiques, Collections, Glass & Ceramics, Rare books, Stamps, Coins and more.

You will be in charge of:

understanding customer & inventory needs for this category, identifying new user experience & services, external partnerships required to meet those needs and strengthen eBay’s position in this vertical. delivering the proposition on the French market by leading & coordinating the work of different cross-functional teams across the globe Supporting the development of the global approach You will be accountable for the business performance of this category with a particular focus on active buyers, volume of sales & inventory availability

This role reports to the country managing director.

Profile and skills:

5 years+ experience in one or several of the Collectibles vertical(s) A passion for understanding the customer and driving great and innovative customer experiences. A track record of successful project/category management experience. Some combination of internet/ecommerce and online retailing a plus. Large degrees of hunger, passion and drive to succeed Strategic vision with a hands-on operating mindset. Excellent verbal and written communications skills combined with the intellectual robustness to clearly portray a set of strategic alternatives and well-founded recommendations. Able to operate in English and French (most communications in English) Experience of cross-functional cooperation . Comfortable working in close partnership other local/regional leaders to align and deliver our strategy Comfortable operating in a lean & fast moving matrix organization, able to navigate through ambiguity Strong business sense. Experience of building partnerships a strong plus
