We are looking for an experienced Category or eCommerce professional with strong business analytical skills and passion for our Brands to join our eCommerce Category Team Europe and support the ambitious growth plans for this channel.
The mission of the eCommerce Category Team Europe is to provide consistent and relevant Insights and Category recommendations to unleash profitable sales and share growth for our brands across eCommerce and Omnichannel. The team is responsible for selecting and managing most efficient tools and resources, analyse data and build business insights to enable key stakeholders to take quicker and more informed decisions, to lead process and tools development to enhance Omnichannel & eCommerce capabilities, to discover industry best practice and embed in our ways of working to elevate our digital shelf and digital execution expertise.

Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
Reporting to the eCommerce Category Manager Europe, the eCommerce Category and Insights Manager Europe will support the growth of the eCommerce and Omnichannel across Europe and will be responsible for maximizing sales and margins for product categories by providing consistent and relevant Category Insights for Omnichannel and eCommerce to enable quicker and more informed decision and by supporting the deployment of the Omnichannel Category strategy. In this role you’ll be working closely with several Edgewell Personal Care functions such as Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain. The eCommerce Category Manager must be a growth-oriented, P&L-minded, highly persuasive leader skilled at working with multiple stakeholders. A strong communicator and strategic thinker with the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders. Professional experience is important. But it’s paramount you share our values ‘move forward’ and own it together’.
Here’s What You Will Get Up To
• Act as channel expert for assigned categories and markets by proactively identifying category/sku specific opportunities and issues, proposing solutions that drive the business forward and minimize liabilities.
• Ensure best use of Category and retailer-specific data in support of optimum category rationale development, specifically leveraging eCommerce analytics tools.
• Monthly reporting for business review performance relating to overall performance on E-commerce KPIs.
• Regular analysis of data relating to Sellout and P&L performance, Digital Shelf Performance (Assortment, Content, Search, Ratings and Reviews), Retail Media performance (ROAS, ad revenue, New to brands).
• Track retailers’ compliance online & provide recommendations to the key account managers on how to grow their share online.
• One-off analysis of big projects / events such as Prime Day, to provide performance review and recommendations for improvements for future peak events.
• Manage multiple data sources and agencies relating and help setting up digital reporting solutions (e.g. Power BI) to improve access to data, insight and reporting for wider teams as well as implementing initiatives to simplify and offer user friendly and actionable insights for local teams analysis.
• Build capability and help upskill internal end-to-end functions on e-commerce data requirements and practices, Train marketing and commercial teams to use eCommerce tools.
Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?
Ideally you will have strong experience in either Category Management or eCommerce within the Consumer Goods industry or in Online Retail. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love it when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.
Here’s What We Are Looking For
• Experience in one of the following areas is required: eCommerce/Category/Analytics
• Strong business analytical skills and commercial acumen, able to optimize against relevant KPIs and commercial goals
• Well versed in leveraging data sources and BI tools (e.g. Nielsen, Kantar, Retailers data sharing, Digital Shelf tools, Power Bi) high level of attention to detail
• Growth mindset, results-oriented, bias for action
• Strong influencer and presenter
• Excellent relationship building skills and able to work cross functionally
• Spoken and written English to a professional level
• Multi-market experience and or leading retailer relationship are a plus
