Through this key role, you will develop and execute the global marketing plan for Pneumatic Valves. You will lead and grow the relevant product portfolio to provide exceptional value to our customers and gain market share.
You will work across World Areas and functions, especially Engineering, Business Development, Sales, and Operations, to develop targets and achieve growth goals. A market- and customer-centric approach is required and the vision to offer the next generation of products solving our customers' most challenging problems.
AS A GLOBAL PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER, YOU WILL:
• Shape, develop and execute the product roadmap for Pneumatic Valves. Find opportunities for new product development. Conduct market, product, competitor and customer research to resolve unmet customer needs. Translate into product requirements and build business cases for new platform products.
• Develop product positioning and messaging that resonate within your market. Engage sales and customers on product adoption. Develop a robust foundation for new product launches through strong promotional marketing campaigns and internal sales support initiatives. Help Marketing Communication team to create relevant communication content.
• Define & implement growth strategy based on market, customer, and competitive knowledge. Actively stay current on market trends. Review product portfolio regularly and make decisions to both grow business and improve margins. Design clear product differentiation strategy to further penetrate market.
• Develop into a product expert. Research and design pricing strategies using market intelligence and customer feedback. Support strategic sales initiatives.
WHO YOU ARE:
You are a result-driven person, with a strong strategic mindset and global perspective. You can manage complexity as well as drive engagement to define and implement the growth strategy for your product portfolio.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing - MBA preferred-, or Engineering
• Experiences in Pneumatics, especially valves, but also in Fieldbus technology preferred
• Experience working in Factory Automation or Process Automation preferred
• Strong technical knowledge. Not afraid to question the status quo and propose creative solutions to problems. Ability to collaborate with others & communicate at all levels of the organization
• Fluent in English and French, German is a plus
• Travel requirements of the job: up to 10%
