Position Overview:
The Product Marketing Manager – Certificate Solutions, will engage and represent customers and thought leaders, lead marketing in evangelizing for the segment, deliver messages that resonate, and create demand for Entrust Datacard. The ideal candidate will be a great story teller with a no-nonsense approach to what matters to the customer.
Develop and execute annual and quarterly product marketing and communication plans.
Track and manage the cross-functional implementation of plans. Provide content, thought leadership, tools and training in support of product launches and joint GTM efforts with sales and partners.
Define and articulate the product communications strategies, product positioning, unique value proposition, and messaging life-cycle plans for various target audiences.
Be the expert on your buyer personae, how they buy, their buying criteria and how to best reach them; glean deep customer insights that lead to better offerings for your products; be thoroughly familiar with your competition.
Distill key functionality and benefits into product positioning, messaging frameworks, and outbound sales and marketing presentations and materials. Drive definition of value propositions and develop effective stories to drive impactful sales enablement across all content and messaging channels, particularly social media.
Coordinate with corporate, field, and vertical marketing to align marketing initiatives and communication programs.
Define the sales tools, other marketing vehicles, and impactful promotional plans for Entrust Datacard sales, partners, and end users. Earn the respect of, and be the best friend to, your sales team.
Initiate and gather research for market insights and competitive analyses. Enable sales and product teams with market and competitive intelligence.
Lead the development of thought leadership materials, customer presentations, white papers, contributed articles, and in-depth case studies to promote and showcase Entrust Datacard’s Certificate Solutions products and services focusing on PKI, IoT and Digital Signature offerings.
Measure effectiveness of all programs used to promote and market Entrust Datacard’s Certificate Solutions.
Minimum of 5 years high-tech software product marketing experience; preferably in information security or cybersecurity.
A relevant post-secondary degree.
Excellent communication and great story telling skills. Ability to communicate complex issues and findings in a clear, structured, manner appropriate for intended audience.
Experience developing and executing product marketing strategy.
Demonstrated results establishing marketing and communications plans that lead to successful product growth and profitability.
Strong understanding of new product launch and field marketing processes.
Demonstrated ability to create world-class marketing content and sales tools, and to educate a global sales force.
Strong project management skills, well-organized, and strong attention to detail. Ability to structure and prioritize work in a manner that best fits the team and company needs.
Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with peers, cross-functional partners, industry partners, customers, and the field.
Must have unrestricted work authorization for USA/Canada.
Ability to travel internationally up to 20%.
Experience in the PKI, digital signature, IoT or crypto markets.
MBA.
Industry analyst experience a plus.
Experience with indirect channel models and partners.
