We are looking for a Practice Manager with French corporate immigration experience to join our French practice, who work with a variety of clients on corporate immigration within France.

THE ROLE

You will be exposed to a full range of corporate immigration work. You will be in daily contact with the clients and other stakeholders, taking the lead on key accounts. You are responsible for developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of the French inbound immigration rules and be able to effectively use this knowledge to offer a high quality service adapted to our clients’ needs. You will also be managing a team of Immigration Consultants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Determines capacity of team to take on new matters or clients – managing workflow Reporting on WIP/billing to senior manager and partner of team to ensure targets met – managing under performers Providing accurate monthly billing estimates Assisting with credit control activities Leading training sessions for clients and colleagues Monthly calls/reviews with clients – identifying service improvements Agreeing fee schedules/bills for clients on time basis in conjunction with senior manager Technical expertise and additional escalation point Managing on-boarding of new clients Involvements in RFPs Networking/profile raising Speaking at internal and external events Drafting articles Contributions to technical training/precedents Working with Partner or Senior Manager to review staff and set targets Monitoring performance on key accounts Mentoring junior staff Participation in interviews of external candidates Dealing with complex queries/research/high profile matters with support from juniors


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Significant corporate immigration experience is required Strong desire to further career within a client delivery role within visas and immigration services Proven experience of working in a document procurement and visa application business, handling a broad range of clients Previous client management or account management experience would be preferred Experience of managing and developing direct reports Able to plan workload often with conflicting deadlines, able to meet deadlines and priorities for own work, taking into account delivery expectations and agreed client service standards Proven ability to generate clear, well-organized written work and able to effectively express oneself verbally in an articulate and polished manner Strong listening skills Accurate work style; focus on details Language skills: Fluency in French and English, other languages are advantageous
