Job Description Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Account Manager- European Airframers, to join our busy team in Toulouse, France.
In this role you will be a GE Aerospace representative covering the full GE Aerospace portfolio (Engines, Aircraft Systems, Avionics and Electrical Power Systems). You will utilise your experience and expertise to identify client needs, gather intel, build relations with key stakeholders, influence commercial business strategies & decisions, and enter into/execute commercial arrangements.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid commercial background from the aviation/aerospace sector with strong influencing skills and a drive to achieve required outcomes.

Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities


People & Culture


Leverage broad organizational leadership to influence culture transformation with cross-functional global team.


Work across multiple product lines and initiatives.


Customer fulfilment


Work with Airframer to linearize demand. Support OTD by partnering with supply chain, stabilizing demand signals, clarifying product configurations, and driving material delivery.


Commercial Strategy


Drive unified Airframer commercial strategy.


Support partnerships opportunities with Airframer or other industry players along Airframer biggest projects, including; Next Gen programs roadmaps & Sustainability.


Formulate and facilitate growth strategies involving appropriate GE Aerospace businesses.


Define and implement engagement with Airframer entities.


Financial Execution


Support GE Aerospace Cash Linearity. 


Understand Airframer’s financial priorities


Interface with Product Lines


Communicate with Product Lines to ensure airframer expectations are being understood, met and conflicts are resolved or escalated.


Integrate with Product Lines on deal positive closure.


Lean


Institutionalize a culture of respect for people and a passion for continuous improvement.


Required Qualifications



Fluent written and oral French
Fluent written and oral English
Degree in Engineering, Aerospace or relevant subject field
Training in program management, BAC+5 is a plus

Skills



Ability to manage executive level customer relationships
Significant experience with Aerospace product management
Ability to assess market dynamics and recommend positioning of products for success
Deep customer relationships & advocacy based on VOC (voice of the customer)
Operational and lean acumen - drive accountability with metrics & set a rhythm
Deep domain expertise of engines and aircraft systems
Significant commercial experience, contract and/or technical experience
NPI and product strategy leadership
Demonstrated Lean capabilities

Desired Characteristics



Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Analytical
Knowledge of German & Spanish is a plus
Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Partner collaboration: listening skills, empathy, patience, & influencing    
Ability to manage diverse set of priorities
