Communication & Operational Marketing Manager F/M/D - Your future position?

Reporting to the Head of Strategic & Operational Marketing for Active Beauty, your overall objective will be to develop and implement a clear Active Beauty operational marketing and communication strategy, which is consistent to support the growth of the business, and coherent with the corporate communications strategy.

Your main responsibilities:

•    Lead and manage Givaudan Active Beauty (AB) Operational Marketing and Communication team: coaching, developing and constantly challenging the team to deliver effective, creative and inspirational marketing materials.


•    Determine a clear internal and external communication strategy and implement relevant communication action plans on a yearly basis to continue to build and strengthen the branding, reputation & key capabilities and portfolio of Givaudan AB including the advertising, websites, media campaign, social media promotion, contacts with relevant journalists, bloggers, monthly newsletters etc.


•    Organize and support various events including global industrial trade shows, key customer events, seminars, major internal meetings. 


•    Coordinate and drive operational projects across the marketing team in view of promoting AB products, for example: new launches, portfolio animation, formulation concepts, sales training videos. 


•    Work with Givaudan legal team to build a coherent set of tradenames for AB portfolio


•    Support the sustainability communication policy of AB in alignment with the corporate initiatives 


•    Monitor competitors’ communication actions, evaluate the efficacy of AB communication, adjust our actions and propose tactics accordingly
The role will be based either in our Argenteuil, Pomacle or Toulouse office.
You?

•    Master degree in communications, business, marketing or scientific discipline preferred

•    10+ years of experience in experience in B2B or B2C strategic communication roles in the beauty and personal care related industry

•    Experience in the beauty and personal care industry technologies 

•    Experience in events management 

•    Able to think strategically and implement strategies effectively on a global basis

•    Proven marketing skills and understanding of B2C and B2B marketing

•    Technical understanding and aptitude for understanding technical concepts 

•    Excellent Presentation skills

•    Able to handle complexity and short timelines

•    Able to work under tight deadlines

•    Excellent oral and written communication skills – ability to convey information in a compelling way

•    Creative Approach 

•    Interpersonal skills, able to lead, influence and engage a diverse network of people from different regions, cultures and functions and bring them together towards one goal

•    Fluency in English, French a benefit

•    People management experience

•    Action oriented and responsive, with highly efficient priority setting
