As our Product Marketing Director, you will be the product evangelist and will play an integral role in organizing product launches.
You have an in-depth understanding of our product, the market, customer base, points of differentiation and value proposition. You know our competitors like the back of your hand: what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You also know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. You back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.
You will collaborate with our GTM teams to develop innovative programs that drive demand. An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our product’s value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems. You are obsessed with tracking performance, and have the data to prove what’s working and what isn’t.Market analysis and product expertise
Facilitate market research approach, methodology and integration of findings into go-to-market approach Translate consumer needs into product requirements working with product management and development teams Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned Search and screen new opportunity areas by analyzing company technology, customer requirements, workflows, market trends and competitive gaps Develop and maintain relations with customers to understand their needs wellPositioning, segmentation and sales enablement
Enhance product definition and positioning using competitive information, market and product analysis Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn Support sales, CS and marketing teams through tools, training and market expertise to ensure their ability to effectively position and sell products in our different markets and segments Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users and the associated key success factors; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it Keep sales, product and leadership teams up-to-date on the competitive and market landscape and trends; build knowledge base of key competitors by segment, strengths and weaknesses and winning strategiesProduct launch and go to market strategy implementation
Develop, record and prioritize go-to market strategies for new products in collaboration with leadership and GTM teams by merging data driven market understanding with customer feedback Work with leadership to refine product pricing & packaging strategies Manage customer expectations and coordinate release and installation of marketing and promotional activities at product launch Plan the launches of new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan Work with product team members to set goals for successful launch and adoption, measure and report progress and channel feedback to product and customer teamsROI analysis
Forecast and evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes Build ROI models, mapping features/functions to value, and illustrating platform benefits across industries Contribute to content for white-papers and customer story assetsPreferred experience and qualification
7+ years of experience with at least 3 years in SaaS Product Marketing, prior product management experience a plus Background in design and copywriting is a plus Experience in market analysis Experience with driving business value and ROI analysis Understanding of community management and engagement, a plus Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills. You should love writing message that will talk to customers and prospects A keen eye for detail Knowledge of Emailing campaign and design/visualisation tools Master degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field Fluent or native English required, a second language is a plus.Inscrivez-vous pour accéder à l'annonce
