Are you passionate about brands and scents? Then you might be interested in a role as Senior Group Marketing Manager and become part of our industry leading team in IFF’s Body Care Innovation Center located in Neuilly, France.

As Senior Group Marketing Manager you contribute to IFF business growth by building differentiating customer value propositions driving innovation and adding value to IFF and our customers. Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Consumer Insights, Consumer Fragrances for EAME, you will build the regional body care marketing strategy and help to identify business opportunities. You inspire both internal and external customers and are recognized as a key strategic business partner that strengthens customer relationships by delivering actionable insights and solutions in a compelling way. 

You will be managing a team ensuring a high-performance culture and efficiently manage resources. You maintain a strong connection with the Global Category and Value to Market team across regions and promote cross-category collaboration. 

About you

To be successful in this role, you have strong leadership skills combined with a creative and commercial mindset and have knowledge of the body care landscape. You must be an independent, strategic and creative thinker who is a strong team player and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.  You will also possess the ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities

As Senior Group Marketing Manager Body Care, you will: 

•    Define and implement Value to Market Body Care Marketing Strategy aligned with specific account or regional commercial strategy ;

•    Identify customer opportunities. Drive white space analysis and  build actionable insights , 

•    Build inspirational and impactful client presentations, organize workshops and inspirational events translating into customer brand implications and/or business opportunities ;

•    Generate new business opportunities by building differentiating value propositions for an IFF product offering targeting a specific customer, brand or region ; 

•    Develop and coach talent, carry out performance management, talent review and workforce planning to ensure a high-performance culture ; 

•    Establish a regular connection with the Global Category Marketing, share knowledge, insights and best practices. You will drive efficiencies and improve ways of working ; 

•    Build cross category connections and share insights and best practices and trickle-down value propositions from one category to another ; 

•    Allocate resource and set priorities ;  

•    Improve operational efficiency and quality.

Required Skills and Experience:

•   University Degree or equivalent ; Preferably Master Degree in Marketing

•   Solid experience (13+ years), preferably in the Fragrance Industry or in related industries on the supplier or customer side ; 

•   Proven ability to lead by influence and motivate multicultural and cross functional teams ;  

•   A passion for the Fragrance Industry ;

•   Ability to translate stakeholders’ requirements into effective strategies and actions ; 

•   Thrive and foster cross-functional and cross-division collaboration with relevant stakeholders ;

•   Drive for results ; 

•   Manage ambiguity ; 

•   Ability to structure processes with demonstrated project management skills ;

•   Languages: English, French is an asset.
