Job Description

Are you passionate about brands and scents? Then you might be interested in a role as Senior Marketing Manager and become part of our industry leading team in IFF’s Body Care Innovation Center located in Neuilly, France.

As Senior Marketing Manager you contribute to IFF business growth by building differentiating customer value propositions building differentiating customer value propositions for key regional and global body care clients. You inspire both internal and external customers and are recognized as a key strategic business partner that strengthens customer relationships by delivering actionable insights and solutions in a compelling way.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you have a creative and commercial mindset and have knowledge of the body care landscape. You must be an independent, strategic and creative thinker who is a strong team player and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary. You will also possess the ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Define and execute marketing strategy aligned with account strategy
Identify customer opportunities. Drive white space analysis and  build actionable insights 
Build inspirational and impactful client presentations, organize workshops and inspirational events translating into customer brand implications and/or business opportunities 
Generate new business opportunities by building differentiating value propositions for an IFF product offering targeting a specific customer, brand or region 
Drive collaboration with internal creative areas, building strong fragrance storytelling
Ensure IFF is at the forefront of marketing trends and constantly drive innovation
Develop an in-depth understanding of body care consumer trends and future needs scenarios at a regional level, including gap analysis, competitors and market intelligence.
Translate cross category market trends and consumer lifestyle into relevant product and brand concepts

Job Requirements

University Degree or equivalent ; Preferably Master Degree in Marketing
At least 7 years experience in development marketing, preferably in the Fragrance Industry or in related industries on the supplier or customer side 
A passion for the Fragrance Industry
Customer Focus
Autonomous, creative and proactive, you adapt quickly 
Teamwork skills, ability to work well with cross disciplinary teams 
Excellent presentations skills
Good interpersonal skills 
High energy & agility: high work volume / pressure 
Proactive mindset 
Fluent in French and English
