To better meet our future needs, the Director of Operations (namely Asset Operations Lead), will act as the key programme director accountable to implement the asset roadmap by driving the cross functional asset team. He will be the right hand to the Asset Lead (the General Manager of the asset) across the product lifecycle.

You will be a key partner in implementing the asset strategy, tactics and plans endorsed by the governance bodies to ensure the delivery of commercially viable products. The current open position is to support late phase assets into their commercialisation phase.

You will be a highly visible pivot point -

Ensuring that all steps of the development plan are anticipated, planned, coordinated and followed-up to result in the most efficient process so the asset cross-functional team delivers on time, quality and budget
Monitoring and tracking of expenditure against budgets and support resource management against agreed strategic objectives for the program.
Ensuring coherent and consistent communication between project functions and for ensuring key issues are reported to the executives in due time and to work with senior team members on issue resolution.
Applying a comprehensive risk management methodology that proactively identifies program risks and opportunities together with developing and delivering appropriate contingencies and/or corrective actions to support the team in development of solutions to project conflicts and issues

When required by the asset team structure, you will be supported by Global Project Managers supporting cross-functional workstreams. They will be your direct line reports.

This role requires proven programme management skills including late stage or commercial launch experience as well as significant relationship building and influencing skills. Experience in regulatory filing, particularly for rare disease assets would be an advantage.  In return you will be at the heart of our asset strategy, ensuring we do what we promise.
