You manage a team of two people: A Business Process Owner managing operational marketing as well as a Business and Market Intelligence Manager. They compose the Marketing Support team together with one n-2.
You lead this team and its activities: portfolio analysis, market intelligence and marketing excellence. In a mid term Foodchain activities could be included your scope as well.
Strong support of the global Marketing team, your main mission is to develop innovative process and strong partnerships in a transversal manner with other stakeholders in order to facilitate the company decision taking as well as its competitivity.
You steer the strategy, design and execution of all the Marketing processes and databases. Automation solutions as well as performance indicator follow up are included in your missions.
You are implicated in Excellence Marketing concept.
Missions:
Marketing processes:
- Steer Marketing process as a whole and animate performance management
- Build and deploy new tools to maximize company’s position on his market

Analytics:
- Provide ad-hoc analyses and insights on key business and marketing activities
- Prepare and present key business data and marketing KPI to support the company’s strategy.
Market Intelligence:
- Proactively participate to developing and improving data collection and databases. Notably about market evolution and competitive landscape.
Collaboration:
- Represent marketing service or lead transversal projects
- Lead a global function with interactions with very diverse teams (Multiple countries and functions)
- Is a member of the Marketing Management team & G60 leadership team of Vilmorin Mikado
- Foster a positive environment of respect and ethical business conduct in a multicultural environment.
- Propose and implement continuous improvement for his/her department and areas of responsibility to reach operational excellence & process simplification
- Lead and inspires a data, metrics and reporting culture. Recognize and reward the team in line with achievements
- You are recognized for your leadership and ability to lead and support team members
Management:
· Oversees and managed team activity and people on a daily basis
· Elaborate development plan for each member of your team
· Conduct annual appraisal for your direct team
Profile
· The work is complex and requires a mature, logical mind and perceptive approach as well as a persistent, can-do attitude.
· Ability to map out Marketing processes and proactive attitude to upgrade them taking into account transversal needs of the organization
· Excellent analytical skills to compile large amounts of data into an understandable format for decision-making. Ability to strategize based on current and historical data.
· Team leader with excellent consultative communication and negotiation skills, proven ability to work effectively with internal clients and a wide range of individuals in a diverse community.
· Ability to manage projects and change
· Ability to deal with ambiguity
· Pragmatic and Execution-oriented
· Effective organizational, multidisciplinary task and time management skills
· Ability to analyze and solve problems or present them in an understandable format for decision-making.

· Fluent English
French as a plus
