MongoDB is looking for a hardworking and results-focused individual to support the team in executing strategic and community events. We are seeking a hardworking Field Marketing Specialist, who will play a pivotal role in developing, managing, and executing marketing programs that focus on growing demand, engagement and generate leads. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of experienced Marketers, Sales, tech specialists and others to deliver programs that drive a pipeline towards sales and renewals across our leads and existing customers.

Candidate profile

Demonstration of a strategic approach to success and can show Return on Investment by supervising results from funded/co-marketing activity against budget 3+ years event planning experience and account management/marketing experience, preferably in a technology company Excellent written and oral communications skills Strong project management skills and ability to work with virtual teams spread across the Globe Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Docs Proficiency in Eloqua/Salesforce experience is a plus Time management, prioritization, and interpersonal skills are key Ability to shift priorities and help other team members as needed Good humor and positive approach Fluent with English and French

Position expectations

Closely integrate with the Field Marketing Manager and Field Marketing team, supporting the needs of Southern Europe region Work with field marketing team to coordinate MongoDB sponsored trade shows, events and digital programs from end to end Define and engage successful local demand generation activities in alignment with our distributed team (webinars and events) aligned to business goals In collaboration with our Account Based marketing team support the coordination of local content strategy by understanding our key audiences and industries Support the digital assets needed to drive specific activities (set-up of landing pages, webinars & events registration, email campaigns, follow up) Generate ideas for, and assist with, the creation of high-quality marketing content for the region (e.g. video, customer stories, blog articles) Analyze and provide insights on campaign performance and propose any improvements needed 30-50% travel to domestic markets when required and available

Success Measures

We expect candidates will be successful in this role when they can execute the following strategic tasks/responsibilities:

In 3 months you will have developed a relationship with your team, understand the regional plans, and begin supporting field marketing programs In 6 months you will have a clear understanding of your key objectives, have executed pipeline acceleration events, and support in account based programs In 12 months you will have fostered relationships across internal MongoDB teams and have executed MongoDB sponsored conferences/digital programs and play a key role in supporting regional account marketing programs, maintained magnificent documentation and reporting of all programs to ensure success, and have a stake in future programming
