Position title: Marketing Specialist, Brand & Communication - DYMO Location: Sint-Niklaas, BE (hybrid working) Reports to: Global Marketing Director Job summary As a Marketing Specialist, Brand & Communication, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive growth for DYMO brand and its customers by meeting consumer needs. Your focus will be on communication strategy and execution, partnership management and content creation. You will leverage resources like shopper and consumer insights, category and industry trends to help make decisions. As a key team player, you will work cross-functionally with R&D, Industrial Design, Sales, Sales Planning, CMI, Finance, Graphics, and Supply Chain. Key responsibilities: Communication Create, implement and oversee communications campaigns Improving shopping experience for business and consumer shoppers throughout the shopping journey, online or offline Develop business and consumer-oriented communication that supports new product launches, describe and promote the brand and product solutions Bring creative and innovative communication ideas that help drive growth of strategic portfolio Apply understanding of the consumer, portfolio and market to both short and long-term decisions. Drive key consumer analysis to aid in decision-making and development of content & communication strategy. Partnerships Lead development of partnership with relevant business partners in the online shipping, online seller and select vertical industry spaces Develop framework of partner outreach and partnership marketing tools Execute co-beneficial marketing programs with established business partners Content Management Accelerate digital focus (consumer & customer media) of the brand Develop brand content including but not limited to photography, video, copy, and enticing and informative sell sheets, case studies, brochure, catalogues, digital content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities Manage and maintain brand content in Newell databases, and ensure alignment with compliance, regulatory and legal requirements Strategy Contribute to the overall development of category strategy and brand plans, and help develop content to support annual Brand Planning Process. Execute against clear, strategic objectives for the category/segment and can articulate the plans at each level to deliver short and long-term success. Brand Equity Familiar with brand(s) standards and design language and ensures consistency with brand positioning for graphics and across consumer touchpoints. Acts as a champion of the brand for the business. Participates in development of integrated marketing plans and programming to support the Strategic Plan and utilize the full marketing mix of advertising, promotions, and trade, working with the Omni-Marketing, Communications and Sales teams. Participates in briefing agencies on communication objectives, advertising and media plans as needed. Minimum requirements: University degree 2-4 years of marketing or communications experience, ideally in brand or digital communications for a CPG, durable, or professional products company or on creative and/or digital agency Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Fluent in English (level C1-C2) Willing to travel up to 10% of time Preferred: Ability to function as a business owner Cross-functional project management Excellent communication skills, written and oral Excellent presentation and organization skills Ability to think both creatively and analytically Newell Brands has a strong footprint in the EMEA region with several thousand employees spread over many corporate offices and manufacturing facilities.
