Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët (MMPJ), prestige Cognac and Champagne branch of Pernod Ricard, is composed of the oldest cognac House and 2 of the most prestigious champagne brands in the world.
To support the global brand ambition on champagne, the Communication team is currently seeking his/her Corporate Communication Manager H/F for his Maisons(located in PARIS).
Your main role will consist in developing a wine/spirits communication plan aimed at strengthening the reputation of each brand, managing the press office assets and platforms, and defining and developing MMPJ’s profile and appeal, locally (Reims, Epernay & Cognac) and internationally.
Duties & Responsabilities
Define, manage and coordinate wine communication strategy in order to strengthen wine and spirits credentials for each brand Recommend and develop activations, tools and ways forward Manage trade media requests, competitions, ratings, and structural partnership projects for wine credentials (Michelin, MOF, etc.) Overhaul the press offices (design, traffic, managing and streamlining content) and optimize online platforms (press reviews, media evaluations, ect.) Manage the trade media and wine image databases for each brand and update communication materials Media training for all CODI members and Ambassadors in general, plus knowledge and understanding of crisis communication procedures Develop MMPJ visibility across different media channels: LinkedIn, website and put forward a related action plan Position MMPJ as a luxury company through marketing communications and participation in events Support and broadcast our Sustainability and Responsibility (S&R) roadmapSkills & Qualifications
4 years proven experience as communications specialist (Corporate and/or PR) for a large international organisation or in a communication agency An experience in wine and spirits is essential, ideally at a premium Champagne house Bac+4 or 5 (4 or 5 years’ study after A-levels or equivalent) in marketing communications You are able to work transversally with other teams/departments with a good team spirit You are organized, rigorous, methodical and proactive with an ability to take creative initiative You have an International network of journalists specializing in wine and spirits You have are comfortable speaking to a variety of different audiences with good writing skills You have a good working knowledge of digital tools and understanding of social networks Proficient command of both English and French Strong affinity with premium/luxury brands and their universe An international experience and a WSET qualification would be a plus Travel: 30% (Reims, Epernay, Cognac) – 10% outside FranceInscrivez-vous pour accéder à l'annonce
