Position purpose:
Strengthen bond/action between corporate strategy and brands. Lead, support and coordinate the ‘transformation process’ of building brands with purpose by integrating sustainability into brand model and action plans. Directing and guiding Brand Companies to identify, build and drive relevant Brand S&R plans/territories/campaigns for implementation in their key markets, strengthening the S&R profile of our brands. Also taking responsibility for driving all commercial/marketing related sustainability initiatives working with GBD teams.
The main responsibilities are:
Build a brand with purpose ‘transformation framework’ to integrate sustainability into the brand models of all strategic brands
Co-develop S&R brands’ roadmap and action planswith Brand Company marketing, innovation teams linked to the corporate strategy (4 pillars) and from raw materials to consumer engagement including KPIs governance and life cycle analysis.
Support all the brands in identifying and building a relevant and engaging consumer facing S&R territory for the brand and help deliver toolkits to market companies with clear guidance/direction
Develop guidance/strategic direction on sustainability ‘claims’ and be the central brand approval of brand sustainability claims
Support brands in identifying suitable partners (NGO, coalitions etc) and scalable sustainable innovations, including new distribution models.
Manage and accelerate on all commercial/marketing topics - take responsibility for relationship with GBD teams and other global marketing teams, working with them on key initiatives/topics such as consumer insight, festivals, e-commerce, Sustainable/Responsible bars, customer sustainable engagement, , brand homes initiatives
Raise the visibility of our brand actions/initiatives in coordination with S&R Engagement Manager including building case studies for investors and to share with the media to gain greater visibility of brand actions to support and help drive corporate strategy
Coordinate brand team training on key sustainability concepts and topics such as eco-design principles, Bar World of Tomorrow, POS etc
Be the central contact with brand purpose activation (coordinate, guide and support requests from BCs, functions and marketing)
The profile required is:
Master degree (CSR, Communication, Political science) with :
6+ years of expereince in marketing/brand experience with a proven track record in campaign development (Ideally brand purpose).
2+ years of experience in Sustainability (CSR) management in an international business or agency.
Must be able to take a leadership position in the development and execution of the strategy and have a strong capability to collaborate, influence and work with brand company marketing teams and many other departments to implement a change management and cohesive plan .
