Marketing Team at Pure


We are looking for an outstanding marketing programs manager with demonstrable experience in driving integrated, multi-touch programs across EMEA Region to create pipeline for Field and Channel.


Reporting to the Program Marketing Director for EMEA you will be responsible for the FlashBlade marketing program strategy and execution across the theater. You will work with the Global Integrated Marketing team and the Regional marketing teams to leverage relevant expertise to effectively drive awareness and demand across all segments of the business.


The successful candidate will have a strong demand generation foundation as well as an understanding of the Channel and an inherent interest in all marketing technology with significant expertise in all aspects of the marketing mix.


SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE, YOU WILL...



Develop and implement jointly with sales and technical leadership pipeline generation and acceleration programs for FlashBlade
Create annual and quarterly marketing plans and targets for targeted sales accounts and contacts that focus on new logos and accelerate existing opportunities.
Interface with sales and marketing leadership teams to determine needs, and work with product/solution marketing to develop tools, programs in a box, to support goals.
Proactively engage with the direct and indirect sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities
Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including agencies, direct mail providers, and fulfilment services
Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs
Track lead flow to ensure the appropriate sales channels are following up on marketing in a timely manner.
Deploy ready-to-carry-out marketing tactics and provide sales enablement using various channels including digital, events, and social media
Ensure global marketing campaign development is in alignment with EMEA interest and opportunity; responsible for taking global campaign material and creating a kit for partners in region that can be easily executed.
Understand partner business model to help shape the route to market strategy, channel enablement programs and strategy (collaborates with EMEA Field Marketing teams to ensure regional execution)
Drive co-development of joint strategic alliance partner go-to-market with EMEA counterpart and Pure Storage global alliance marketing, including the execution of those plans in collaboration with both company’s field marketing team and channel partners.
Co-develop success metrics and associated dashboard for reporting.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...




8+ years’ experience in integrated marketing for a high-growth and emergingtechnology business (experience with data analytics / AI applications and IT / Cloud Infrastructure a plus)

Growth hacker mentality with ability to introduce innovative demand gen activities that have proven to be the first to market, best-in-class or exclusive in their execution
Solid background in developing technology positioning, messaging and content (preferred)
Experience in Channel and Alliance Marketing
Results-driven with ability to determine and articulate program effectiveness, ROI and forecasting.
Extensive hands on experience with content management, marketing automation and CRM systems (AEM, Marketo and SFDC preferred)
Experience in developing and managing integrated marketing plans. Ability to think strategically and execute with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong team player with ability to develop effective working relationships across the company, including regional and global marketing teams, sales, sales operations and IT
BS or BA in a technical or business discipline (MBA a plus)
Willingness and ability to work in an open office, team environment
