Position Description


To strengthen our Syndromic (QIAstat-Dx) team, we are seeking a Regional Marketing Manager who will work closely with QIAGEN’s direct sales team across the European markets. The Regional Marketing Manager will develop and drive the campaigns for the Syndromic Testing according to the global strategy from the Product Managers and in alignment with the Regional Sales Managers.


Key responsibilities:


- Strategy & Tactics: Accountable for developing the European marketing strategy across Syndromic segments and markets in alignment with the Regional Heads of Commercial Operations and in agreement with corporate goals. Responsible for delivery and implementation of annual marketing plans including tactical activity planning for each market/ business segment in EU, aligning all planning with all relevant departments including Global Product Management (GPM).


- Planning: Responsible for the development, agreement and monitoring of sales targets, key performance indicators and creation and implementation of annual marketing plans.


- Business/ Markets: Provide guidance for focus areas of growth and align planning accordingly. Drive and initiate development of new business growth opportunities by working closely with all commercial teams and other departments (including sales, QIAstat Sales Specialists, service teams, GPMs, finance, etc). Maintain and develop relationships with key customers/ KOLs.


- Revenue and Budget Planning: Help to build the regional budgets and support the Sales Managers with the forecasting process. Analyze and interpret market reports. Monitor KPI’s through SalesForce.


Position Requirements


- Bachelor’s in Life Science or equivalent required, Master’s/ PhD or MBA preferred


- At least 7 years’ successful experience with a proven track record within the Life Science or Clinical Diagnostics industry


- Strong and established network of customers/ influencers/ scientists


- Proven business successes in planning, implementation, taking products to market and execution of marketing strategy


- Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills as well as proven project management and leadership skills


- Located within Western Europe with the ability to travel up to 50% of the time across the region
