About the jobThe Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Services Delivery Manager to join us in France. In this role, you will work with resource management to staff projects in your region. You will assist in negotiating rates, project costs, and terms and conditions of work and contracts. You’ll oversee the delivery of your assigned projects from kickoff to closeout, including defining scope details and monitoring the project progress to ensure that it aligns with customer expectations and signed contracts. As a Services Delivery Manager, you will manage associate consultations, including one-on-one meetings, escalation situations, performance and development, and general team coordination within your Team.What you will doOversee services delivery in France and manage and develop a team of technical consultants, including activities like career planning, performance analysis, skills development, hiring, etcEnsure effective and engaging onboarding, so that new hires become ready for customer engagementsTake responsibility for billability targets for the team and supporting margin and revenue targets by ensuring the team has relevant skills neededEnsure profitability and staff sufficiency by collaborating with the Consulting Operations teamWork with the consulting enablement lead for the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region to ensure availability of appropriate trainingWhat you will bringBachelor's or master's degree, or relevant technical training, or experience with architecture or technical consultingGood understanding of enterprise architecture technologies, including application development and infrastructurePractical experience with people management, including a successful record of talent development within a teamExperience with customer service as a professional services consultant or engineer is helpfulUnderstanding of the Red Hat business strategy and economic model; good business insight and judgmentAbility to understand the technical impact of projects, as well as the business impact on both Red Hat and customers in delivering and scoping projectsFluent language skills in French and EnglishWillingness to travel 10-25%Bachelor's or master's degree, or relevant technical training, or experience with architecture or technical consultingGood understanding of enterprise architecture technologies, including application development and infrastructurePractical experience with people management, including a successful record of talent development within a teamExperience with customer service as a professional services consultant or engineer is helpfulUnderstanding of the Red Hat business strategy and economic model; good business insight and judgmentAbility to understand the technical impact of projects, as well as the business impact on both Red Hat and customers in delivering and scoping projectsFluent language skills in French and EnglishWillingness to travel 10-25%#LI-MR3 #LI - REMOTE
