About our External Communications Manager - Southern Europe role
Our Corporate Affairs Team in Southern Europe (France, Morocco, Belgium) is looking for a highly motivated, well-connected, and experienced External Communications professional to join its Corporate Affairs team in SEU.
This role is responsible for driving and executing the external comms strategy in Southern Europe with close collaboration with European and global PR team.
Please note this role will be based out of our Paris office and the interview will be conducted in both English and French. For all applications please submit your CV in English.

Responsabilités principales
Summary of your day-to-day?
• Plan and implement External Comms plans in support of specific business initiatives, ensuring corporate reputation is maintained
• Regularly interact with senior leadership to develop and communicate stories and strategic messages
• Develop and strengthen relationships with technology, vertical, and business press and influencers
• Drive proactive corporate coverage including technology and innovation, ESG and agenda’s that champion the needs of our millions of SMB customers
• Develop key messaging and talking points for stakeholders
• Develop strategy for PR campaigns, and write and edit subsequent press releases, blogs, SN , pitches, and communications plans
• Manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges with high-judgment and professionalism
• Ensure collateral is shared and repurposed for maximum effect across multiple communication channels.
• Work collaboratively with the broader communications and marketing teams to ensure programmes are consistent with corporate positioning and complement activity being undertaken for other parts of the business.
• Monitor, evaluate and review effectiveness of PR activity. Use and share this understanding to inform strategic approach
• Maintain clear understanding of the priorities of target publications
• Manage activity within agreed budgets and timescales
• Organise and attend events and exhibitions as required
• Manage a third-party agency to support PR activities
Minimum qualifications
• Highly confidential and diplomatic with mature approach to problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and in English
• Have a good PR & Media network
• Prioritising inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts with little guidance, making judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day to day engagements
• Team player who builds rapport and enjoys collaborating, with a willingness to support colleagues during critical periods
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate across the company
• Working to very high standards to deliver against deadlines - Attention to detail is key to the role
• Build strong relationships across the organization with internal and external stakeholders
• Crisis management ability
• Working in a multi-cultural/international environment
