Your mission

As CMO, your main objective will be to transition SamBoat from a growing startup to a main player on the internal scene. Supported by a multilingual marketing team, the objective is to develop SamBoat worldwide in order to support the hyper growth of the start-up.

To structure and professionalise the current team
Build and embrace a department that is data driven
Continuously increasing traffic and leads and achieve growth objectives.

Marketing strategy

Implementation of a global marketing strategy
Setting up a roadmap and strategy for the team
Launching new markets / new languages

Branding & Media planning

Implementation and deployment of a media plan (TV - Radio - Print, in more than 5 countries)
Brand platform management and storytelling
Follow and supervise communication materials
Events supervision (trade shows + meeting..)
Monitoring of PR actions for all countries

Monitoring and Reporting

Support, train, and supervise the marketing team (10 people)
Prepare and manage a multi-million marketing budget
Ensure reporting
Internal communication management

Online acquisition

Work in collaboration with the head of traffic to allow a sustainable and scalable acquisition strategy

Your profile ?

Main requirements are a proven and successful track record in growing, scaling, leading and mentoring marketing teams in fast paced startup environments (ideally travel, leisure, web, or marketplace).

Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing - You have already fulfilled a similar position as marketing manager or equivalent in a start up

You are autonomous and proactive
You are fluent in English and French
You have management experience
You have a real culture / curiosity around digital marketing and communication
You have an entrepreneurial spirit and you like to take initiatives
You know how to develop a marketing strategy and implement it
You are creative
You know how to develop brand awareness in a market
You have experience in the advertising world
You have experience in PR
You are interested in the world of boats and the world of water sports
