Marketing Operations Director - France
Within Global Marketing France Operations, the Marketing Operations Director is part of the France Marketing team and will be responsible for supporting our markets in the creation of content and campaigns as well as the monitoring of transformation projects as a PMO.
The mission of the Integrated Campaign Operations (ICO) team is to design and implement marketing campaigns that maximize brand awareness, engage customers and partners, and influence our revenue. We determine when and how we motivate our customers, partners and prospects to take action. The Marketing Operations Director plays a critical role in the success of this mission. He/she oversees all campaign operations and acts as a point of connection between internal, external and cross-functional teams.
The responsibilities of the Marketing Operations Director will be divided into two main categories: Marketing Operations team management and Transformation Project Management (PMO).
PMO:
Create a well-oiled machine to structure the Integrated Campaign Operations team
Drive transformation projects within the team and help streamline processes, reduce actions that don't add value and capitalize on best practices to continuously improve our campaigns.
Act as a key person within the marcom organization to advance transformation projects.
Team Management :
Act as a gatekeeper for our Marcom Managers/Program Specialists to launch campaigns and create content.
Challenge briefs and help improve them and ensure that no campaigns are launched without one.
Responsible for routing campaign creation and content requests by managing the specialists within the team as needed and ensuring a ramp up / down of freelancers to manage potential peaks.
Develop a management system for external agencies to have a quality pool to manage the different requests. Challenge the agencies, question their proposals, train them on our brand guidelines and conduct the negotiations.
Be the link with the internal Studio for validation of transversal campaigns to ensure consistency with our brand.
Create processes, define team roles and responsibilities, and drive team transformation.
This job could be for you if:
BAC+5 in communication required, project management would be a plus
8 years of marketing experience with most of the experience focused on acquisition and engagement via digital marketing channels, including SEO/SEM, web, social, email, online advertising and analytics tools
Experience in managing teams is strongly desired
Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital marketing and digital media are a plus
Brand and/or agency experience in the industry and/or technology sector
Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing plans (demand generation and brand building)
Transformation project management and change management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer focus
Innovative and creative
Ability to work independently and adapt in an ever-changing work environment
High degree of initiative and proactive approach
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
Well organized and detail-oriented
Ability to travel in France
Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluent in French and English are required
