How to contribute to our vision


This team is part of COG’S Operations Management. It consolidates and orchestrates all strategic planning activities for footprint and supply chain development within COG in collaboration with the relevant experts in the modules. The overall responsibility lies in creating the most competitive capacities for the demand communicated by the Business Units.  


Pro-active development of strategic analyses for SGREs manufacturing footprint and supply chain development in line with superior business strategies, guidelines and principles via:


A) Footprint Blade Demand Management


·       global demand/capacity balancing in the long-term horizon considering localization requirements


·       identification of required footprint evaluations


B) Development of Blade Footprint Options


·       Prioritize footprint requests


·       Develop and evaluate options for decided requests, together with modules


·       Prepare busines decision proposals for top management


·       Prepare feedback to sales


·       Update total landed cost for actual long-term forecast / market evaluation process


·       Challenge footprint “strategic approach” to continuously improve status-quo


C) Prepare manufacturing strategy management reports for Blades


D) Act as trusted partner for Blade module organization and advisor for strategic development


Qualifications


Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:


·       Master’s degree or higher in business administration, engineering, management or sciences


·       Planning and/or manufacturing knowledge would be an advantage


·       Proven track record in consulting / strategic / planning functions or in  other business areas (10+ years)


·       As a person you are assertive, proactive and result-oriented and you have a structured and hands-on approach to complex tasks


·       Experience in project management, scrum methodology and ability to positively interact with different stakeholders would be an advantage


·       Strong communication and presentation skills


·       High degree of teamwork skills to work with peers across all levels of the business


·       Strong analytical skills and process focus


·       English proficiency: written and spoken
