Overview of role:
The purpose of the Retail Marketing Manager is to support the development, implementation and execution of strategic marketing plans for all company’s products and product lines, in order to generate demand, attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
Key generic and specific responsibilities:
He/she will support the development and execution of new concepts and strategies for the product.
He/she will be responsible to oversee and streamline the process of production, review and distribution of key marketing assets , developed within the product launch strategy, ensuring positive engagement across teams for all phases of projects, from kick-off to close-out.
He/she will work closely with the Creative department to produce valuable and engaging content for different communication channels and will review and approve promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing assets related to the product.
He/she will gather and analyze competitive information and customer insight, also through the coordination of market research projects.
He/she will create and release status reports and create high impact executive presentations on different topics based on needs.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
Years of experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager / Marketing Manager in a large in-house marketing communication department or ad agency
Essential qualifications and skills:
Strong project management skills. Strong written and oral communication skills in order to effectively interact with all levels of staff from different departments, vendors and agencies including technical, non-technical and marketing personnel. Superior time management skills, attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment, meeting multiple tight deadlines. Proactive thinking with a problem solving attitude. Exceptional cross-group collaboration working both within internal stakeholders and external partners. Ability to comprehend and track multiple complex processes. Strong presentation skills, also in front of large, global, virtual audiences. Computer literate with proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience in the global marketplace is a plus. Managing global marketing teams or agencies is a plus.
