Smartedge’s client is looking for Service Manager - Contract role based in Paris, France.
Job Title: Service Manager
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Job Locations: Paris, France
Primary responsibilities are:
Ø Desk side Support Management
Ø Customer Relationship Management
Ø SLA Management including Incident, problem, Configuration, Service request etc.
Ø Daily review with the Desk side support team
Need to have thorough knowledge and get the below tasks carried out by the Desksideteam :
Ø Accurately testing, identifying, repairing, resolving, and documenting end user technical issues regarding /desktop support, printers, iPhones, iPadsand LAN cable drops
Ø Providing 2nd line IT support services to the business community ensuring that all requirements are met within agreed service targets
Ø Troubleshooting and resolving software issues; reimaging computers/hard drives Backing up and restoring settings and associated systems administration activities
Ø Taking ownership of issues through to resolution on all appropriate requests.
Ø Categorize and prioritize end user support requests and service requests by utilizing a Customer ticketing system to track tickets and provide up-to-date status and information.
Ø Performing asset inventory activities as needed.
Ø Trains and orients staff on use of hardware and software.
Technical Skills:
Ø Excellent skills in user IT infrastructure – Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Handhelds, Smartphone etc.
Ø Strong technical skills in Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and business productivity applications i.e. Office
Ø Effective communication in English and Frenchare mandatory
Business Skills:
Ø Team Management
Ø Ability to interact with customers so as to ensure that the service is polite, efficient and responsive
Ø To work through issues analytically to a successful conclusion
Ø An individual with a minimum of 3 year’s supervisory experience
Skills, Experience and Qualification Required for the Position :
Ø Minimum Qualification – IT Service Delivery Management
Ø Experience with at least 5+ years on supervisory role and team management.
Ø Ideal candidate would be expected to have a good understanding of IT Infrastructure
Ø ITIL professional will be preferred
Ø Deliverables to include ensuring the proper levels of run and maintain support and hands-on assistance for IT infrastructure projects /upgrades (workstations)
Ø Strong customer service skills
Ø Must be detail oriented and self-motivating
Ø Should have very strong written and oral communication skills
Ø Flexibility with respect to time – client deliverables need to be met with a Can do attitude
Ø Excellent problem solving / quantitative/ analytical skills
Start Date: ASAP (notice period accepted for right candidate)
