Job Purpose & Mission

An end user-focused role, the Brand Marketing Director will be responsible for executing the region’s brand marketing strategies through the adaption of the Global Brand Strategy and Tool Kit, fully aligned to and supporting the region’s commercial strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and management of the Brand Marketing team.Actively partners in a matrix structure with cross-functional teams including the Product Marketing, Trade Marketing, Digital/eCommerce, Studio, Insight and Regional Commercial teams.Provides Brand leadership to ensure adherence to Global Brand Standards.Adapts Global Brand Strategy, brand voice, and brand positioning for all brands commercialised in the EMEA-ANZ region, utilising the Global Brand Tool Kit.Leads the EMEA-ANZ Region Brand Planning process oversees associated budgets, while ensuring full alignment with Global Brand Plans and EMEA-ANZ Region Commercial Strategy.Liaises with EMEA-ANZ Region Product Marketing and Commercial Teams to ensure alignment in executing Global strategic brand objectives at local level.Maintains close collaboration with EMEA-ANZ Brand and Digital Directors to ensure alignment to, and cascade of overarching global brand strategy and priorities to the EMEA-ANZ Region.Actively partners with EMEA-ANZ Brand and Digital Directors to adapt Global Brand Vision ensuring plans reflect EMEA-ANZ region requirements.Actively partners with Global cross-functional teams including Product Marketing and Corporate Marketing (e.g. Sponsorship).Adapts Global Campaigns & Priorities for EMEA-ANZ region, where applicable.Originates regional Brand initiatives, as required, to support EMEA-ANZ commercial objectives.Drives activities to build and enrich a strong Marketable End User database which can be used for 1:1 personalised marketing.Develop a thorough understanding of the EMEA-ANZ Region’s markets including developing a thorough understanding of the market trends, consumer & end-user needs and requirements as well as Customer Needs and business opportunities.Monitor and feedback on competitor brand marketing activities, proposing any necessary actions.In Conjunction with Global Digital COE and Regional Digital teams, is responsible for EMEA-ANZ Digital Marketing activities (e.g Social Media, eDM, website content, A+ content assets) in close collaboration with the Central team Digital COE.Manages EMEA-ANZ Region agency relationships.Oversees and approves local media plans and targeting.Sets KPI’s and works with Insight team to analyse, interpret and form intelligence from internal analytics and external market reports and research, to feed into recommendations for activities.Accountable for delivery of Brand Performance targets in EMEA-ANZ Region e.g. via B2B Studies.Ensures ongoing Brand Team Engagement Strategy, Talent Assessment, Recruitment, Training, Coaching and Development Plans.Build strong collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders in the EMEA-ANZ Region.

Proven track record of leading and managing teamsExcellent strategic brand planning skillsStrong Digital Marketing understandingRequires knowledge of brand fundamentals and insights managementStrong Commercial UnderstandingExperience of working in an international environmentTrack record of managing agenciesStrong financial/budget management skillsAn understanding of product planning and NPIStrong project management skills, solid analytical skills and attention to detailStrong verbal, written and presentation skillsExperience working in a highly matrixed, global organization6+ years of management experienceSome travel is expected for this role.
